Drip Trays

Drip Trays

A drip tray is a container or surface placed under equipment or machinery to catch and contain fluids that may leak, drip, or spill during normal operation, maintenance, or repairs. Drip trays are commonly used in various industries, including manufacturing, automotive, food processing, and chemical handling, to prevent spills from contaminating the surrounding environment or creating hazardous conditions.

Common Types of Drip Trays:

Basic Drip Trays: Typically simple, shallow containers made of plastic, metal, or other durable materials. These are often placed directly under machines or equipment to collect small amounts of liquid.

Drip Tray with Grates: Some trays come with metal or plastic grates or screens on top, which allow equipment or machinery to sit above the liquid, reducing direct contact with the fluid and promoting better airflow.

Portable Drip Trays: These are movable trays that can be placed under equipment when needed, allowing for flexibility in maintenance or when dealing with varying types of machinery.
