Universal Absorbents

Maintenance absorbents are made by pure Polypropylene fiber and high absorbing capacity about 20 times than its weight. Universal Spill Absorbents are used, if your workplace uses water-based fluids such as oil, diesel or gas, you’ll know how dangerous and worrying a spill can be, even in strict working environments. Here our universal absorbent polypropylene comes in the form of polypropylene pads or scatter, and designed specifically to clear up any spill. Absorbing all water-based fluids, it comfortably contains a wealth of potentially hazardous materials, including oil, diesel, gas and coolants.

Maintenance absorbents from melt blown polypropylene, which unlike granules are non-abrasive so there is no risk of damaging expensive machinery or finished products. For easy identification our range of maintenance absorbents are color coded grey.

Universal Pads

Universal/Maintenance/General absorbent pads are made from a single layer of meltblown bonded together with lamination. This gives the pad a very strong which also good absorbency rate and quick absorbing liquids.

Each pad is 40 cm wide by 50 cm long (16″ x 20″) and is made from a single layer of meltblown fibers, laminated with bond points. The pada are perforated center.

Universal Sock

The Pig Universal absorbent socks are made spun-bond outer sleeve and filled with an absorbent polypropylene core that is made from pure polypropylene material. This will absorb all liquids especially non aggressive chemical fluids. This socks sealed both side by metal clip.

The spun-bond sleeve makes very strong even when containing absorbed fluid. This mean they will not shed any loose fibers. The socks are very flexible which allows to bend to any uneven surfaces.

Universal Pillow

Universal absorbent pillows are made from a spun-bond outer casing that is both stitched and heat sealed to enclose a pure polypropylene.

Our Pillow quick absorb large surface area helps reduce absorption time and its flexibility makes it easy to insert into difficult to reach spaces.

Universal Boom

Our universal booms are made an outer plastic netting that contains a spun-bond inner sock which filled with recycled polypropylene. The booms feature rust proof hooks 50cm in from each end along with rings at both ends. So that multiple booms can be attached to each other to form longer barrages. A tough nylon rope also runs the entire length and is secured at each end with double clips to maintain a strong and durable product.
